We’ve structured our websites so that, in general, you can visit BlockScore sites without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. However, BlockScore may ask you to register and provide information that personally identifies you when you register as a subscriber, create an inquiry about our services or obtain white papers, order email newsletters, respond to a marketing campaign or file a complaint.

Types of information we collect
On some pages you can request information, subscribe to marketing or support materials, register yourself to obtain information on our services or apply for a job at BlockScore. The types of personal information you provide to us on these pages may include name, address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, educational and employment background, and job interest data.
This Privacy Statement covers personal information, non-personal data collection and aggregate reporting.
Personal information is information that is associated with your name or personal identity. BlockScore uses personal information to understand better your needs and interests and to provide you with better service. Once you choose to provide us with personal information, it will be used only to support your customer relationship with BlockScore. BlockScore will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others.
To personalize our websites, services or communications and improve our services, we may also ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, and experiences with our products or services. Providing this additional information is optional.
Non-personal information is data about usage and service operation that is not associated with a specific personal identity. BlockScore collects and analyzes non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use the BlockScore websites.
Non-personal data we collect may include the pages visited on the BlockScore websites, unique URLs visited, browser type and IP address. Most non-personal data is collected via analysis technologies.
BlockScore is committed to protecting the privacy needs of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. BlockScore does not knowingly collect, or encourage collection of information from children under the age of 13 and BlockScore does not target its websites to children under 13.
How we use your information
BlockScore uses your personal information to provide you with services and to help us better understand your needs and interests. Specifically, we use your information to communicate with you, to provide service and support, to update you on services and benefits, and to personalize promotional offers. Occasionally we may also use your information to contact you for market research regarding BlockScore’s services. BlockScore will not use your personal information for a different purpose than the one stated when you provided your data or subsequently authorized by you. We will give you the opportunity to choose your privacy preferences regarding such communications (see section 7, “Your privacy preferences and opting out”).
Personal data collected online may also be combined with information you provide BlockScore through other sources such as trade shows or seminars.

Non-personal data is aggregated for reporting about BlockScore’s websites usability, performance and effectiveness. It is used to improve the customer experience, usability and site content.
Website Navigational Information
BlockScore uses commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons, to collect information as you navigate the BlockScore’s websites. This section describes the types of website navigational information used on the Company’s websites and how this information may be used.
BlockScore uses Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about customers and visitors’ usage of the BlockScore’s websites and interaction with emails from the Company. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular website tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a website tied to the Web beacon. For example, BlockScore may place Web beacons in marketing emails that notify the Company when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of the Company’s websites. BlockScore uses Web beacons to operate and improve the Company’s websites and email communications.
When you visit BlockScore’s Web sites, the Company collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, BlockScore uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which customers and visitors navigate the Company’s websites.
Who we share your information with
BlockScore will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others. BlockScore will not share your personal information with third parties except in responding to your requests for services. Your permission will be requested when you submit your information. BlockScore shares customer information across BlockScore‘s affiliated business entities and companies working on our behalf, but only as described above in “How we use your information.”
BlockScore contracts with third-party service providers and suppliers to deliver complete services and customer solutions described in “How we use your information.” Suppliers and service providers are required to keep confidential the information received on behalf of BlockScore and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for BlockScore. These service providers may change or we may contract with additional service providers to better accommodate our customers. BlockScore will not share personal information with any other third parties without your permission, unless required by law enforcement action, subpoena, or local law.
BlockScore or its related entities could merge with or be acquired by another business entity or some or all of their respective assets could be acquired. If such a combination or acquisition occurs, BlockScore will make every reasonable effort to notify you in the event we share with the merging or acquiring entity some or all of your personal information to continue serving you.
BlockScore may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s websites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. BlockScore is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
BlockScore posts a list of customers and testimonials on the Company’s websites that contain information such as customer names and titles. BlockScore obtains the consent of each customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.
BlockScore gives you the choice of receiving a variety of information that complements our services. You can subscribe to receive certain service or industry specific information and marketing communications. BlockScore’s communications may include new service information, special offers, or an invitation to participate in market research. We give you a choice regarding delivery of communications by postal mail, email and telephone. You can make or change your choices at the data collection point. Please refer to Section 7 for further instructions. We will make every effort to honor your preferences. This option does not apply to communications for the purpose of administering contracts, support, or service notifications.
Your privacy preferences and opting out
You may receive periodic mailings from us with information on services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending an email to email@example.com or writing to us at our physical address. Please provide us with your name and information you want on our do-not-share list. We will be sure your name is removed from the list we share with other organizations.
Additionally, if you do not want BlockScore to contact you for marketing purposes by email, postal mail, fax and/or phone, you may opt out by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, calling us at +1 (650) 691-9012, or writing to us at our physical address. Please provide us with your name and the information you wish to unsubscribe. Place the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject when emailing.
If your state’s privacy laws provide for different rights or require a different procedure in order for you to exercise your privacy rights under those laws, we will explain your rights to you when you email us at email@example.com.
Access to and accuracy of your information
BlockScore strives to keep your personal information accurate. We have implemented technology, management processes and policies to maintain customer data accuracy. Upon request, BlockScore will grant individuals reasonable access to personal information that it holds about them. In addition, BlockScore will take reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. Keeping your information secure
BlockScore is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, BlockScore has in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.
We have up-to-date physical safeguards, such as secure areas in buildings; electronic safeguards, such as passwords and encryption; and procedural safeguards, such as customer authentication procedures to prevent ID theft.
We restrict access to information about you to only those employees and associates who need to know that information to provide services to you.
We carefully select and monitor outside service providers, such as mail vendors, who have access to our business information, and we require them to keep it safe and secure. We do not allow them to use or share the information for any purpose other than the job they are hired to do.
We train our employees on these security procedures, and we conduct regular audits to check on compliance with the procedures.
Changes to this Statement
If there are updates to the terms of the BlockScore’s Privacy Statement, we will post those changes and update the revision date in this document, so you will always know what information we collect online, how we use it, and what choices you have.
